SUMMARY:Endless Summer Night Out!
DESCRIPTION:It’s hard to believe that we’re already back-to-school shopping and getting the kids ready to hit the books in just a few weeks! At SCATS we believe in going out with a bang\, so we’re going to end summer properly with a good old fashioned PARTY to ring in the school year. \nAugust 17th is the date\, 3 to 7 PM is the time\, and it’s still only $35 for members with a special summer camper price of just $25 (see front office for details). Kids as young as 3 (potty trained) join us for summer style fun in the gym\, pizza\, prizes and more while mom and dad take the night off! \nSpace is limited and we tend to fill up quickly for these special events\, so sign up as soon as possible with our front desk or over the phone at 714-895-2909. \nLet your kids savor their remaining days of summer with SCATS while you sit back and relax!

SUMMARY:2019 HB 4th of July Parade
DESCRIPTION:World class gymnastics isn’t the only thing for which SCATS wins awards. In 13 of the last 15 years\, we have successfully claimed the coveted “Firecracker Award” at the Huntington Beach 4th Of July Parade for having one of the most impressive floats among youth organizations and across the board!\n\nThis year we’re determined to do it again\, and we have a fun theme for the SCATS float in 2019 with some live gymnastics occurring on the float\, too!\n\nMake your way downtown on 4th Of July to support your fellow SCATS gymnasts and all the hard work the SCATS family will surely put into our beautiful parade float. You won’t be disappointed!\n\nAnd don’t forget\, the gym itself will be closed on the Thursday the 4th\, so grab your sunscreen and meet us on Main Street!

SUMMARY:SCATS' Gymtastic Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Our 33rd(!) Annual SCATS Gymtastic Summer Camp is shaping up to be one of our best ever\, and it’s just around the corner. In addition to the gymnastics fun we have in store every year\, all summer long\, we are looking forward to having some extra special guests\, events and field trips this summer.\n\nThe “Swim” portion of the “gym ‘n’ swim” camp will be on one afternoon during the week (days TBA). This year\, we’re swimming at 12:30 PM\, so make sure your swimmers are at SCATS\, ready to leave at NOON for the short walk through the business park over to the Marina pool. Life guards\, pool supervisors and our own coaches are on hand to ensure everyone’s safety. Your camper does not need to be a world class swimmer to take part in the pool fun\, but we recommend they’re comfortable in the water and are at least 5 years old.\n\nThe afternoon fun doesn’t end at the pool. Every Wednesday\, campers 5 and older take a field trip over to Chuck E. Cheese! And EVERY Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday\, so come with your wackiest hair-do\, hat and style\, and ready for some (washable) colored hairspray!\n\nFridays\, we take a short trip over to our neighbors at GetAir for some trampoline park fun! And some of our special guests and activities this year include a visitor from Pre-historic Pets\, art lessons and face painting with SCATS staff and friends\, HB police officers and firefighters\, and more!\n\nAs you can see\, the summer promises to be jam-packed with fun at SCATS. We’ll be taking sign-ups later this month\, so start thinking about what weeks work best for you and yours. If you’re looking to just drop by now and then throughout summer\, no problem! A camp punch card gets you 2 free camp days for every 10 purchased. Lots of options and flexibility for you this summer!

SUMMARY:"Save-A-Life" Night Out Event
DESCRIPTION:We have a fun night planned for Saturday April 6th here at SCATS. And while we have a lot of those throughout the year in our gym\, this one is special. 100% of pro-ceeds from this “Parents’ Night Out” event will benefit the “A Home 4 Ever” and “Karla’s Pack” animal rescues\, two great organizations devoted to helping animals in need.  \nPlease join us on April 6th from 3 to 6 PM to have a blast in the gym in support of their unified cause of helping to find animals of all species and ages the forever homes they desperately need. Our staff is donating their time to participate that night\, and there is only a minimum donation of $25 per child to attend. We will also be displaying a bin in the front office through April for donations of food and pet supplies for the furry residents of the rescues. Look for more details soon\, including which supplies are most needed at the moment.  \nWe’ll be taking sign-ups as of today for our event\, so save your spot— space may be limited! Inquire up front on how to donate directly to the rescues and learn more about the great work they’ve done for animal welfare. Most importantly\, if you’re looking for a new member of the family in a cat or dog\, look no further than “A Home 4 Ever” and Karla’s Pack for your new furrever friend! \nLet’s adopt\, not shop!
