DESCRIPTION:You and your valentine deserve a night out\, and the kids could probably use one too.  Avoid the crowds and expensive limited menus this year and take the night after V-day off instead! Drop the little ones at SCATS with their favorite coaches while you enjoy a romantic evening out. As always\, attendees can expect plenty of gymnastics\, games\, pizza\, face painting and unforgettable fun.  \nThis one runs from 4:00 to 8:00 PM for kids 3 and older (potty trained) and is only $35 for SCATS members with an additional $5 off for any siblings (non-members welcome for $40/$35 siblings). Don’t miss out on this one!  We won’t have another “Parents’ Night Out” event until April\, and you’ve earned it!

DESCRIPTION:So your gymnast doesn’t share dad’s enthusiasm for the big game.  No problem! We can all have our fun on February 2nd. Super Bowl Sunday is Super Bowl FUNday for the kids and their friends\, right here at SCATS! We’ll have tons of high-energy activities and fun planned for the event while you concentrate on the action and criticize the refs. Superbowl Funday is similar to our monthly “Parents’ Night Out” events but will run 3 to 8 PM for kids 3 and older (potty trained). Pizza dinner is included\, and all for only $35\, $25 for siblings!  Make sure to give us a ring in advance\, as we have a maximum we can accommodate\, contingent on available staff.  See you here!

SUMMARY:Team Abigail "Night Out" Charity Event
DESCRIPTION:In May 2016\, the world lost a wonderful and brave 9 year old girl with a huge heart\, whom we’d been fortunate enough to have as part of our extended family here at SCATS since she was only 2.  Since 2014\, Abigail Caplan-Jones had been slowly winning her fight with a rare form of bone cancer akin to Ewing’s Sarcoma. The battle turned unexpectedly in the spring\, however\, and ended tragically only 2 months after her 9th birthday.  We had established an ancillary fund at the time for her family to offset expenses associated with her treatment. The response and outpouring was both astounding and heartwarming. Over $40\,000 was raised for the Caplan-Jones family in GoFundMe contributions and via a number of local special events.  \nOn January 25th we’re hosting another special event in Abigail’s name\, and this time to help the countless other families that battle fiercely like the Caplan-Jones’ did and still do for children with cancer.  \nPlease have your little gymnasts and their friends join us on Saturday the 25th from 3 to 6 PM to have some fun in the gym the way Abigail would if she could be here with us.  There is only a minimum donation of $25 per child (cash only please\, or checks made out to PCRF). Our staff is donating their time to participate that night\, Valuetina’s is donating pizza for the kids\, and 100% of proceeds benefit the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF).  We’re taking sign-ups already\, so save your spot because space may be limited.  \nThank you to all those that supported Abigail and family on their hardest days and join us in the new year to continue her valiant battle. We look forward to a full gym in her name.

SUMMARY:TWO Fun Halloween Parties!
DESCRIPTION:‘Tis the season to be scary!  Well\, not too scary\, and not just yet\, but  we do have tons of Halloween fun in store next month! Come to one or both of our Halloween events. They’re a blast for the kids and a cool opportunity to get into costume with friends before the 31st. \nThis year\, both events are on the Saturday before Halloween\, October 26th. Our annual SCATS Costume Party (for kids 18 months to 7 years) runs from 2 to 3:30 PM that day— we decorate the gym to the nines in Halloween fashion and even rent a spooky Halloween bouncer for the special occasion.  Don’t worry\, we keep the event very age appropriate.  “Fun” is the operative word here\, not “fear”!  \nAnd for those of you who are big fans of our Parents’ Night Out events\,  our “Ghouls’ Night Out” starting at 4 that same day will be a huge hit. SUMMARY:Competing Academy Program (C*A*P*): Fall '19 Season
DESCRIPTION:After a fabulous and successful spring season of our C.A.P. program (that feels like it ended only yesterday)\, we’re already gearing up for our 2019 fall session!  \nFor those of you not familiar with our Competing Academy Program\, it is a special extracurricular program for Academy girls who would like to experience the thrill of USAG gymnastics competition but on a less intense level. It’s also a great precursor to our GYM Team program\, for those interested in it.  \n$150 covers your daughter’s participation in the C.A.P. meet as well as the 8 Friday or Saturday sessions in the fall leading up to it\, wherein kids will use their skills learned during regular classes to put together fun routines.  Training session #1 is September 27th. Seven weeks later on November 16th\, C.A.P. kids will participate in the “Cash Bash” Meet in front of family and friends.  The girls have a blast and get the opportunity to earn “gym bucks” toward prizes at the meet.  Every child is a champion! See the front office for more details. This is an opportunity you don’t want to pass up!

SUMMARY:SCATS' Gymtastic Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Our 33rd(!) Annual SCATS Gymtastic Summer Camp is shaping up to be one of our best ever\, and it’s just around the corner. In addition to the gymnastics fun we have in store every year\, all summer long\, we are looking forward to having some extra special guests\, events and field trips this summer.\n\nThe “Swim” portion of the “gym ‘n’ swim” camp will be on one afternoon during the week (days TBA). This year\, we’re swimming at 12:30 PM\, so make sure your swimmers are at SCATS\, ready to leave at NOON for the short walk through the business park over to the Marina pool. Life guards\, pool supervisors and our own coaches are on hand to ensure everyone’s safety. Your camper does not need to be a world class swimmer to take part in the pool fun\, but we recommend they’re comfortable in the water and are at least 5 years old.\n\nThe afternoon fun doesn’t end at the pool. Every Wednesday\, campers 5 and older take a field trip over to Chuck E. Cheese! And EVERY Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday\, so come with your wackiest hair-do\, hat and style\, and ready for some (washable) colored hairspray!\n\nFridays\, we take a short trip over to our neighbors at GetAir for some trampoline park fun! And some of our special guests and activities this year include a visitor from Pre-historic Pets\, art lessons and face painting with SCATS staff and friends\, HB police officers and firefighters\, and more!\n\nAs you can see\, the summer promises to be jam-packed with fun at SCATS. We’ll be taking sign-ups later this month\, so start thinking about what weeks work best for you and yours. If you’re looking to just drop by now and then throughout summer\, no problem! A camp punch card gets you 2 free camp days for every 10 purchased. Lots of options and flexibility for you this summer!

DESCRIPTION:We have a fun night planned for Saturday April 6th here at SCATS. And while we have a lot of those throughout the year in our gym\, this one is special. 100% of pro-ceeds from this “Parents’ Night Out” event will benefit the “A Home 4 Ever” and “Karla’s Pack” animal rescues\, two great organizations devoted to helping animals in need.  \nPlease join us on April 6th from 3 to 6 PM to have a blast in the gym in support of their unified cause of helping to find animals of all species and ages the forever homes they desperately need. Our staff is donating their time to participate that night\, and there is only a minimum donation of $25 per child to attend. We will also be displaying a bin in the front office through April for donations of food and pet supplies for the furry residents of the rescues. Look for more details soon\, including which supplies are most needed at the moment.  \nWe’ll be taking sign-ups as of today for our event\, so save your spot— space may be limited! Inquire up front on how to donate directly to the rescues and learn more about the great work they’ve done for animal welfare. DESCRIPTION:Our 25th Annual Summer Camp is shaping up to be one of our best ever and it’s here. In addition to the gymnastics fun we have in store every year\, all summer long\, we are looking forward to having some exciting special events and surprises. Each week our age-specific crafts and activities are geared around a new and exciting theme. Campers and coaches will participate in a costume contests\, games\, plenty of gymnastics\, and a movie every Friday after lunch projected onto our big screen.   Some of our fun activities this year include weekly themed games and competitions\, music & dance time\, arts & crafts\, and much more.  The summer promises to be jam-packed with fun at Olympica’s Gymnastics Summer Camp. We have plenty of discounts to go around\, too\, including full-week rates\, half-day rates\, and sibling rates.  Fun and flexibility is the name of the game this summer and OGA is the place to find both!
