SCATS’ Level 3 & 4 girls took on State Championships this past weekend down in San Marcos and truly outdid themselves.
There were just shy of 1200 gymnasts from more than 70 different clubs competing over the weekend, so the competition was FIERCE! These amazing girls brought back a total of 17 State Champion Titles, 7 silver medals, and 3 bronze. On top of that, they also put SCATS in the top 5 for individual events or top 10 All Around over 40 times across the championship weekend!
Some more detailed highlights are listed on the reverse side, but we’ll shout out our State Champions in Level 4 across multiple age divisions: Gillian who grabbed gold on beam AND floor, Taryn on floor, and our AA State Champs Abigail and Ananda, who also both won vault and beam events while going 2nd and 1st, respectively, on floor too! The Level 3 State Champs included Elizabeth on bars and beam, and Alexis who took the All Around State Champion Title after securing gold on bars, beam and floor, and silver on vault.
To all our level 3 & 4 girls, your coaches and everyone at SCATS could not be more proud of the hard work, dedication, growth and success you’ve accomplished this season. We hope you continue to train hard and strive to reach new heights in this next training year.
