The SCATS Teams were on fire through February and aren’t showing any signs of fatigue kicking off the month of March. The boys levels 5 through 7 teams brought their best to the Central Conference Championships. Across all three levels, our boys took home a whopping 55 individual medals, 23 of which were gold and included All Around winners Tommy Strachan, Caden Wood, and Trenton Kailey. Hats off to Tommy for a gold sweep across all events and the Level 6 All Around, and Caden for going 6 for 7!
The guys continued their stride up in LA for the Peter Vidmar Invitational, where our boys placed on the podium a total 32 times, including two gold all-around finishes by Tommy Strachan and Caden Wood in their level 7 and 6 divisions, respectively. Silver and bronze all-around achievers included Ami Solow, Trenton Kailey, Jared Walker, and Karson Westall. Incredible work, guys!
Our girls set a high bar at the Pacific Classic this past weekend in Aliso Viejo, stepping onto the podium 40 total times across the weekend. Congratulations to All Around winners Sunny Leibowitz (Level 6), Kaylee Spasov (Level 4), Adeline Poon (Level 3), and Zeeva Stachnik (Level 3) and all around medalists Kayla Toniolo (Level 9), Chloe Frank (9), Lilia McAllister (6), and Elizabeth Spencer (3).
Above all, everyone on the SCATS Teams put forth an amazing effort that made all of us proud and looking forward to their respective State Championship meets later in March. Keep it up guys and girls, and good luck!
